John and Jack discuss his progression from associate to partner. Jack takes us through his transition from his 9th Circuit clerkship to joining the firm. They discuss Jack’s initial expectations as a new associate and his many firsts, including depositions, hearings, trials and other stand up opportunities and the mentorship he received along the way. Jack offers tips for managing stress and workload.
